સામાન્ય AEFI
- સામાન્ય સ્વયમ મર્યાદિત પ્રતિક્રિયાઓ
- ઉદાહરણો: દુખાવો ઇન્જેક્શન ની જગ્યાએ સોજો તાવ સીડિયા પણું અસ્પષ્ટતા વગેરે
તીવ્ર AEFI
- નિષ્ક્રિયતા આવી શકે છે અને ભાગ્યે જ જીવ માટે જોખમી હોઈ શકે છે
- લાંબા ગાળાની સમસ્યાઓ થતી નથી
- ઉદાહરણ: સાજા થઈ ગયેલા એનાફાલેકસીસના કેચો જેમાં હોસ્પિટલમાં દાખલ કરવાની જરૂર ન પડી હોય તાવ (>102 ફેરનહીટ)
ગંભીર AEFI
- મૃત્યુ
- હોસ્પિટલમાં દાખલ થવાની જરૂર પડવી
- સતત અથવા નોંધપાત્ર અપંગતા, સમૂહ (કલસ્ટર)
- માતા-પિતા સમુદાય દ્વારા નોંધપાત્ર ચિંતા

What Is AEFI શું છે?
ઇમ્યુનાઇઝેશન પછીની પ્રતિકૂળ ઘટના (AEFI) ને કોઈપણ અપ્રિય તબીબી ઘટના તરીકે વ્યાખ્યાયિત કરવામાં આવે છે જે રોગપ્રતિરક્ષાને અનુસરે છે અને જેનો રસીના ઉપયોગ સાથે કારણભૂત સંબંધ હોવો જરૂરી નથી.
પ્રતિકૂળ ઘટના કોઈપણ પ્રતિકૂળ અથવા અનિચ્છનીય સંકેત, અસામાન્ય પ્રયોગશાળા શોધ, લક્ષણ અથવા રોગ હોઈ શકે છે.
નોંધાયેલી પ્રતિકૂળ ઘટનાઓ કાં તો સાચી પ્રતિકૂળ ઘટનાઓ હોઈ શકે છે, એટલે કે વાસ્તવમાં રસી અથવા રોગપ્રતિરક્ષા પ્રક્રિયાનું પરિણામ, અથવા સાંયોગિક ઘટનાઓ કે જે રસી અથવા રસીકરણ પ્રક્રિયાને કારણે નથી, પરંતુ અસ્થાયી રૂપે રસીકરણ સાથે સંકળાયેલી છે.

AEFI Kit Medicine List
- Injection adrenalin (1:1000) solution – 2 ampoules
- Injection hydrocortisone (100 mg) – 1 vial
- Disposable syringe (insulin type) having 0.01 ml graduations and 26G IM needle – 2 sets
- Disposable syringe (5 ml) and 24/26G IM needle – 2 sets
- Scalp vein set – 2 sets
- Tab paracetamol (500 mg) – 10 tabs
- IV fluids (Ringer lactate/normal saline): 1 unit in plastic bottle
- IV fluids (5% dextrose): 1 unit in plastic bottle
- IV drip set: 1 set
- Cotton wool, adhesive tape – 1 each
- AEFI Case Reporting Form (CRF)
- Label showing date of inspection, expiry date of Inj. adrenaline and shortest expiry date of any of the components
- Drug dosage tables for Inj. Adrenaline and hydrocortisone
